Dr. Xiaochuan Lu is an Associate Professor at North Carolina A&T State University (NC A&T)<\/strong>. He has over seventeen years of experience in all kinds of materials for energy conversion and storage applications. Prior to joining NC A&T, he was a Senior Research Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and working on all types of batteries (e.g., Li-ion, Na-ion, and redox flow batteries), fuel cells (e.g., solid oxide fuel cells, proton-exchange membrane fuel cells, etc.), supercapacitors, solar energy storage, magnetic materials, etc. Dr. Lu has published over 70 papers in peer reviewed professional journals (over 6200 citations), including Chemical Review, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Nano Energy, Energy Storage Materials, and Energy & Environmental Science. He has also published 2 book chapters and 10 U.S. patents (5 granted).
